Fee’s for game officials are fifty dollars [$50.00]/team per game [PAYABLE BEFORE GAME COMMENCES]

CONSTITUTION and RULES and REGULATIONS

The B.M.S.A. is a registered non-profit society [November, 1990]. The Rules and Regulations are written in plain language and are distributed to every member team. ALL teams are expected to comply with ALL league regulations. [Opportunities to “Fine tune” these rules are given at the league “Annual General Meeting” each June.

SCHEDULING

All games are played on fields within the City of Burnaby on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Most games are played on the artificial turf fields at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex [Kensington & Sprott]. Game confirmation will be available on the leagues website after 6:00 pm Thursday each week. [member teams must have internet access to league website for access to all league info.]

NOTE:

The Artificial Field Complex is considered “DRY”by the City of Burnaby. No alcohol/drug consumption will be allowed. This rule will be rigidly enforced within the complex, its adjacent parking lots, and street by the complex staff, the RCMP, and the league.

AWARDS EVENT

The B.M.S.A. holds an “ANNUAL AWARDS EVENT” towards the end of every season to honour outstanding teams and individuals that have distinguished themselves over the course of the playing season.

NOTE:

Each team is requested to submit the names of two of their players they feel are deserving of recognition as ‘MVP’s”. The league then honours them at the event by presenting them with a trophy.

FINALS

The Challenge Cup [A], Eliminator Cup [B], and the Defender Cup [C] will all be played the same day. Play-offs to determine Third place and fourth place will also be played. These games will all be played on fields the league has allotments on.
